Asymmetric Unmanned got its start in 2014 as the UAS Services & Sales division within Asymmetric Technologies. We received FAA approval for commercial UAS flight under a Section 333 exemption in early 2015, and within months became the first company in the US to conduct a regulatory compliant bridge inspection using UAS.
In 2021, our emergency airspace approval throughput was among the quickest reported by the FAA, with authorizations granted in less than 90 minutes from initial request.
